News part 2

ALRIGHT GUYS! So yesterday, watchin' the ever awesome streamin' yesterday that got a little bit done in the way of actually doing an M5 page, I was struck with the sudden urge to pick up drawing! :iconlegasplz:

I know, right!? SO, after the stream was over (and a few unaccounted for hours before actually workin up the nerve to comment on her page ) I told her what an awesome stream it was, and asked what advice she could lend to a starting artist. This was her reply:

*quote*Well, i'd just say for now, since you're still starting? Ignore tutorials for a little while and just ..create! Draw what comes to mind and draw it the way you want to! Let your mind flow freely from your hand to the paper. Once you've gotten pretty far into it, that's when you look around for tutorials. You've gotta find a path to hike on before you ask for a map!*unquote*

...... dA, why you no allow the faving of the comments? Hang on one moment, guys. Dammit, that was too loud! Dammit! Still too loud. Eheh...

*clears throat* Anyways, yeah. I'm startin' to draw now, so don't be going "OMG MUST SEE WHEN YOUR DONE "cause, yeah, it would hurt your eye to look at all the heavenly goodness Haha, not really.

So yeah, any other tips and advice you can shoot my way may help (though not as awesome as Pepsi's up there, but you get the idea)
